Day One: El Paso, TX to Navajoa, Son, MX
Monday the 14th:Uneventful trip with exception the A/C quit on the pickup about 2pm in Tucson, the temperature was already 100 degs. F. It started working again about 8:30pm. I stopped for the night in Navajoa about 10:30pm.

Day Two: Navajoa, Son, MX to Mazatlán, Sin, MX
Tuesday: After a good nights sleep, I get an early start at daybreak. Got to Mazatlan about 1:oo pm. Went by "The Fish Taco" and got something to eat. Drove by the Honda shop to check on the bike. Told Diego I would be by about 10:00 am the next day to pick it up. Went and got a room and then went by Judy's house to pick up the things I had in storage there.
After getting some rest, I went down to The Shrimp Factory for supper. Saw Alberto and Victor G. (a tour guide and member of the Moto Club) and had a couple of drinks with them.

Day 3: Mazatlán
Wednesday:Went by the Honda shop to pick up the bike. Diego had a plan to push the bike over to a park that was at the corner and then just roll it into the back of the pickup.
He did a fantastic job of tying the bike down, it did not move even an inch on the whole trip back.Went back to the Hotel and parked the truck and went next door to Tio Juan's for lunch. Had a nice conversation with Victor (my favorite waiter). Later tried to call home but no one there. About 6pm I went to the Shrimp Factory for supper. I met Jack from Montana walking on the street and he and I went over to the Los Flores Hotel bar for a few drinks and waited out the brief rain shower. He was back from Montana only for a couple of days to close on the new house he had bought in March. Later that night I met with Victor G. again. He said he would like to ride back to El Paso with me and look for a new bike. He had sold his other one right after Moto Week in May. I said I would love to have the company on the long drive home. He said he would meet me the next morning for breakfast. If he wasn't there by 8:00am. to leave without him.
Later that night, I went by Harley's for the Wednesday night club meeting to see all my friends. We discussed the plans for the upcoming rally in Salamanca to be held in September. They thought they would ride to Guadalahara and spent the night on the way up to the rally. I figured I would ride directly there since it was about 2 days longer for me to go to Mazatlan first.

Day 4-5: Mazatlán, Sin, MX to El Paso, TX
Thursday-Friday:Got up about 6:30am and packed everything into the truck. Went down to The Fish Taco for breakfast. Victor G. showed up right at 8:00am. We then said good-by to everyone and go on the road about 8:30am. Uneventful trip back, except the fan on the A/C quit a few times but always came back on after a few miles. We spent the night in Benjamine Hill and got an early start about 6:00am to get on the road. At breakfast at the Triple T Truck stop in Tucson and left about 10:30am. Arrived in Deming, NM at Deming Cycle about 2:30pm. They were expecting me. Unloaded the bike while Victor shopped around and looked at the bikes for sale. Back on the road to El Paso about 3:30pm and arrived home at 6:00pm.
